We strongly believe that in order for you to effectively use GoldMine in your business, formal GoldMine training is a must. GoldMine is a very robust package and has much to offer. Yes, you can just install it and start entering data, but what are you missing? How much of GoldMine's power and functionality are you really using? In all probability you are only seeing and using the most obvious functionality. In fact, you may well be creating obstacles to your effectiveness because of your lack of familiarity with GoldMine's philosophy and design. Many of GoldMine's less obvious "treasures" may well go undiscovered and untouched.

To make sure that you experience the greatest business benefits from your customized GoldMine software, we highly recommend sessions where we familiarize your staff with its capabilities and help them get comfortable with its productivity enhancing functions. As a result, they'll know things like how to create and use merge forms (saving them loads of retyping), how to print labels to send out holiday cards and how to select certain clientele from the database and send them all the same email.

Such training "sticks" because trainees learn to perform tasks that matter to them through visual, verbal and most importantly, hands-on participation with an instructor available to answer questions. They master what they need to know - and no more - in the shortest amount of time.

MARKET/FX is an Authorized GoldMine Training Center. Classes are taught by Certified GoldMine Instructors who are also experienced GoldMine consultants with years of GoldMine consulting, customization and support behind them. This solid real-world orientation distinguishes our trainers from many who simply teach "by the book."

Classes contain no more than 10 students, with an average class size of 6 to 8. Each student learns on his or her own computer. Instructors take the time to make sure each student understands each exercise and to address individual questions. Classes normally last a full day so that students have adequate time to practice, absorb and apply what they have learned.

Most of our new clients bring us in to introduce GoldMine to users in their company. They receive training on the customized version of GoldMine we've created for the company, emphasizing the tasks most relevant and important for them. For instance, they practice creating and using mail-merge forms, e-mail templates, mining their database for a new product launch relevant to a segment of their customers, etc. Such classes ensure that those who now have powerful tools for productivity and marketing outreach actually use them, creating the greatest benefit for the organization.

We offer 3 core GoldMine user training classes - Part I, Part II and Part III. All our public classes are held at our training facility in Irvine, located near the Orange County airport. These classes are especially suitable for new hires at a company where most everyone else is already up to speed on the company's customized version of GoldMine, or for staff in companies who already have GoldMine installed but aren't sure how to get the most out of it.
